How much did you know about Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis?

What is the standard treatment for CAPD peritonitis?

Treatment is initially aimed at treating both possible Gram +ve and Gram --ve contaminants. This will depend on local policy, but normally includes vancomycin for Gram +ve treatment and either ceftazidime or an aminoglycoside for Gram --ve treatment. Treatment is then adjusted in light of culture and sensitivity reports.
