What are the signs and symptoms in a patient experiencing
acute rejection?
Signs
are normally:
 |
 |
a
sudden rise in serum creatinine; |
| |
 |
possible
increase in blood pressure; and |
| |
 |
a
reduced urine output. |
Symptoms
include pain over the kidney. Diagnosis is confirmed by a
biopsy, which differentiates acute rejection from cyclosporin
toxicity.
