Mouth ulcers, glossitis, disturbed taste, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, diarrhoea, hypersensitivity reactions, abortion. Withdrawal syndrome (Post-Feverfew syndrome) of insomnia, anxiety, headaches, and arthralgia. Interaction with anti-coagulants. |

Pharmacological
properties: |
Human: Randomized, double-blind placebo-controlled trials have shown significant efficacy in migraine, but not in rheumatoid arthritis
Animal: Inhibits platelet aggregation and prostaglandin, thromboxane and leukotriene production. May act by inhibiting phospholipase A2. |
